Come prepared!
Hey Entrepreneurs! We urge you to come wanting to make profits. If you’re travelling to Shimla, putting yourself and your products out there, you’d have to factor in costs outside of your inventory.
Breaking even will be wonderful, being realistic is awesome. But don’t be afraid to give your products the price tag you think it deserves.
Spread Your Wings
As Queen once said, ‘Come on, honey, fly with me’.
This is a great chance to build a network. Whether it’s your first time or the tenth, you’ll always meet queeps you’ve never known before.
Our research says, from the newest and brightest, to the oldest and wisest, everyone has something to offer that you may never have thought of before.
We invite you to take this opportunity to learn from those around you, think of aspects of your own products, marketing, design, scale.
What to do if you have inventory after the show?
Here are some suggestions:
- You could choose to have a grand sale for other participants.
- You could choose another participant to barter with
- You could try and sell or barter your goods at local stores in the city.
Though we can’t promise that you’ll end up pockets-full and stock-less. The dream is to create a circular-ish economy that benefits the multitude of queers, what say?
Feminists Don’t Compete
Every entrepreneur attending Maya Bazaar has something entirely unique to offer. Even if similarities in products exist, we believe that we don’t need to be in a cut-throat race. Ask for help, buddy up with queer-peers. Help someone build their brand, as you have yours, perhaps?
We want to eliminate straight-out competitiveness while brining you a footfall of over 2000 friends and allies, you can be sure that your product will get the love that it needs and deserves.
