On the 6th of September, 2018, the Supreme Court of India, in a landmark verdict, read down section 377 and unanimously agreed that the LGBTQ (that’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) community has the same rights as any other citizen.

While the business case for LGBTQ inclusion at workplaces has already been established, this judgement has given corporate India the right “go ahead” to make that first move.

This session will help sensitize all employees on LGBTQ+ inclusion. The objectives are to create a safe space for your employees from the community, help your workforce appreciate diversity and model the values of your organization.

Medium and method of instruction: English, kinaesthetic and experiential workshop

This workshop will be an immersive and intensive experience for your people who are responsible for people. The objectives are to understand the deeper value of inclusion, how to create pathways for employees to achieve their optimum potential, crisis management (dealing with homophobia/ discrimination), vocally advocate and create an overall zero tolerance space for biases.

We can’t do a patchy job at advocating inclusion and expect a holistic change in the culture. A section of your workforce probably doesn’t speak English (security, housekeeping, janitors etc.) and hence falls through the cracks in the learning curve of your organization.
