About Us

The Road to Utopia team on stage at Maya Bazaar 2025, a queer arts and culture festival.
Maya Bazaar, where the drama is real and the joy is collective.

Road to Utopia is a queer-feminist collective based in Bangalore. We’ve been doing the work since 2017.
Our strengths lie at the intersection of belonging and productivity. We build cultures of teamwork and inclusion that lead to high performance—and ultimately, pride. This means strategy, facilitation, and the occasional festival—yes, really.
We believe in conversations that are honest, design that is thoughtful, and interventions that shift and stir without putting people on the spot. Not afraid to challenge systems or unlearn conditioning, we go deep, get messy, or get things wrong if that’s what it takes. We do it all with clarity, care, and just the right amount of drama.
With empathy and compassion at our core, our work spans education, capacity building, DEI consulting, and customised workshops for all kinds of teams and contexts.

Rooted in empathy

We draw from lived experiences and diverse people with unique lives. We use authentic narratives to build compassion and understanding in a way that is relatable to most.

Collaborative discovery

We encourage participants to discover insights and epiphanies together as a collective. We have found that this is the most impactful way to change mindsets, attitudes and behaviours for the better.

Judgement free learning

We leave a lot of room for questions. We understand everyone learns differently, at their own pace, and in a way that makes sense to them. We believe there is no one right way.
